The Job You Will Perform:

Maintenance Planning Responsibilities Determines material needs for repairs, research options, obtain pricing, utilize the SAP system to create a requisition, and receive material in SAP upon receipt of invoices.  Coordinate purchasing, inventory, and work order administration activities of the Maintenance Department.  Source material available locally and will purchase needed material using a Pcard. Inspects all maintenance materials and services upon delivery to the Maintenance Department.  Track equipment repair, building repair, or project costs using the SAP system or other available methods and report to management on a routine basis and as requested.  Analyzes high maintenance cost centers and in consultation with the respective manager, implements solutions to reduce and improve the cost. Work with vendors to consolidate purchases where cost savings can be derived. May manage work to be contracted out by planning the tasks to be completed, developing a scope of work, and contacting contractors for quotations. After review and acceptance of a bid, utilizes the SAP system to create a requisition and will release service entries upon completion of work and receipt of invoices. Actively participate in ensuring a safe work environment.  Perform preventive maintenance administrative activities. Maintain a neat and orderly fashion for all catalogues, bulletins and technical information in the Maintenance Office, including drawings and blue prints, machine manuals, vendor catalogues and all other technical and non-technical information required to be in the Maintenance Department library. Other duties as assigned.  Die Prep Responsibilities Conducts inspections and maintains organization of die boards and print plates within the site. Dies should be prepared and ready to assure order readiness for machine operation. It is essential to obtain correct specifications to assure that dies are mounted appropriately. It will be essential to take the dies to the machine. When new dies arrive, write a location number on the die, hang and make a file for future reference and locating the die. Dies must be placed on racks for ultimate retrieval. Once used dies are returned they must be stored in their designated locations. Compare customer specification with mounted die to insure customer specification is being met. Writes customer’s name, file number, ID number, and rack number on mounted dies and places them in the proper location. Keeps accurate records in database of changes to locations and/or tooling holds. Checks quality of dies and print plates before and after production runs. Notifies supervisor when new dies and print plates are needed. Must be able to prepare dies for shipment. Communicate to the supervisor of supply needs, or to request supplies from other management personnel. Keeps work area clean. Follows end-of-shift clean-up procedure. Able to identify safety hazards and follows safe working practices.

 

The Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge You Will Bring:

High school diploma or GED. One-year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. SAP experience and computer skills required. Action oriented Customer/Quality Focused Organizational Skills Priority Setting Process Management Decision Quality
