Can-Tech Services is looking for a Maintenance Coordinator for one of our reputable Manufacturing clients in the Vaughan area. 

Our client is a manufacturer that develops customized high-performance HVAC systems for vehicles and machinery in construction, agriculture, forestry, mining, material handling and utility vehicle industries, making the driest or wettest surroundings and the most extreme hot or cold weather unnoticeable. Our premium products are relied upon to provide a comfortable climate, exceeding our customers’ expectations..

Position: Maintenance Coordinator.

Position Type: Permanent (Full-Time).

Pay: $25 – $27

Shift: Days

Location: Vaughan, ON

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, procure, and store maintenance materials and inventory.

Complete Work orders to improve technician efficiency whilst reducing rework.

Working within the Warehouse to ensure maintenance materials and spares are accurate and in compliance to internal standards.

Ensure the CMMS is maintained with correct data and information to enable continuous improvement of maintenance work.

Ensure equipment paper and electronic databases are maintained up to date kept orderly.

Conduct request for quote and issue purchase orders as per standards

Follow and contribute to all health and safety standards to ensure a safe workplace.

Participate in the 5S program ensuring good housekeeping practices and continuous improvement of the maintenance materials warehouse.

 

Qualifications/Skills: 

Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Trained in Mechanical Maintenance and Maintenance Coordinator

Good knowledge in maintenance activities in a manufacturing factory. 

Must have some experience in PM, Breakdown coordination activities. 

Knowledge of maintaining CMMS for maintenance activities.

Knowledge of mechanical and Electrical industrial spare parts will be an added advantage.

1-2 years on the same or similar position

Proven experience in maintenance coordination in an industrial organization.
