Your Role at KIK
Join our team as a Maintenance Clerk, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal coordination of parts and materials. Responsibilities include processing purchase orders, receiving products and maintaining parts inventory and more. You’ll be a key contributor to the success of our plant. Bring your expertise and tools to a dynamic environment that values efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This position has an hourly rate which is based on experience and skill set. This role offers competitive pay starting at $24.00 per hour, based on experience and skills. The shift time for this role is Monday – Friday 6:00am – 2:00pm CST, required weekend overtime as needed. What You’ll Be Doing
Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments, according to production and shipping schedules or department priorities, and compiles and maintains manual or computerized records: Reviews production schedules and related information and confers with department supervisors to determine material requirements to identify overdue materials and to track material.Requisitions material and establishes sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability.Examines material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications.Arranges in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules.Computes the amount of material required to complete job orders, applying knowledge of product and manufacturing processes.Compiles and maintains manual or computerized records, such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials.May move or transport materials from one department to another, manually or using material handling equipment.May arrange for repair and assembly of material or part.Additional duties as assigned.What You’ll Bring
High school diploma or GED required2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on parts inventory and receiving materials or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to work in an industrial, non-climate-controlled environment and navigate stairs, ladders, and confined spaces while using appropriate safety equipmentExcellent communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentForklift experience preferred, but not requiredPhysical Requirement:
