Maintenance Assistant

Wage determinations will be based on related experience. We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to support our senior living community. This maintenance position is responsible for supervising preventative maintenance programs and repairs building systems and equipment and grounds keeping for the Senior Assisted Living community in Bloomington, MN * NO boilers license required. **This full-time repairs/grounds/maintenance position includes the following :** 80 hours in two weeks Day shift One weekend per month Full Benefits ; (medical, dental, matching retirement monies, tuition reimbursement, paid time off) https://www.ebenezercares.org/employee-benefits New Benefit: Early Wage Access - cash out wages before payday! **Responsibilities Job Description** + Repairs and maintains work orders for residents' individual living apartment homes and community spaces + Keeps grounds and walkways free from obstructions including snow removal, and operating motorized grounds equipment + Monitors and performs basic repairs to HVAC, security, safety, electrical and plumbing equipment + Apartment turnovers + Daily safety checks of mechanical systems + Replace fileters and belts as needed + Repair of building hardware + Snow removal + Moving Furniture + Putting away Supplies **Qualifications** One to three years previous experience in a similar environment Vocation/Technical training preferred Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Desire to work with older adults Boiler's license must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment Current Driver’s License (in good standing **Benefit Overview** Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
