Job Description

The Apprenticeship program is a structured career development program that combines On the Job Training (OJT) and classroom instruction.   

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Complete Task, Duties, and Responsibilities of a Crew Member.Maintain production and support equipment to planned production and quality specifications.  Responsibility includes electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical components.Responsible for change over activities.Perform work on electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems performing PM’s and making repairs under the guidance of Lead Technicians and Mentors.Assume a responsible role in the output and quality of equipment in your area.May be required to setup and use ladders and hand and power trucks.Maintain equipment functionsUse of, and ability to be certified on, forklift and material handling equipment, lifts and booms.Good general industrial safety guidelines (Fire evacuation, accident reporting, PPE, Lock-out/Tag-out, hot work permits, waste disposal, confined space work).Perform associated duties as required.


 

Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE

Work a minimum of 20 hours per week on a shift agreed to with position supervisor.Actively enrolled in an associates degree program directly related to the technical field.Completion of the degree within the timeframe specified in the apprentice guidelines.

THE ENVIRONMENT

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as company issued/approved steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.  as needed in the required areas.  The job is within a non-climate-controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.The role involves various physical tasks, including lifting and operating machinery, with comprehensive training provided.
