**Job Description Summary**
Lead the maintenance, repair and installation of aviation test cell equipment in addition to the overall maintenance of the test and assembly site in Lynn, MA. Responsibilities include supervising employees who perform maintenance and troubleshooting of test facilities and assembly area equipment. Requires deep expertise in rotating equipment operations, structural mounts, and support systems, along with a strong understanding of industry concepts, methodologies, and best practices. This role offers the opportunity to drive operational excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
**Job Description**
**Roles and Responsibilities**
+ Perform technical work specific to electrical/mechanical, equipment review, etc.
+ Sign off on engineering design & certifications of test cell components.
+ Work with external vendors and external professional engineers.
+ This could include civil, electrical, mechanical, or other engineering specialty skill sets.
+ Works on very complex technological issues or test processes
+ Solving issues and developing new solutions requires new and innovative approaches.
+ Has authority to guide others in different approaches.
+ Partners closely with Assembly and Test leadership and Test Facilities Engineering to solve problems.
+ Presents to top leadership on technical and business solutions.
+ Works with cross business teams. Is considered a subject matter expert in test facilities and equipment.
+ Responsible for ensuring compliance to state and federal regulations and permits for running test cells, including fuel delivery systems and emissions.
+ Deep expertise in operation of rotating equipment and structural mounts and support.

**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s Degree accredited college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 9 years of Gas turbine testing experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years of Test facility operation and maintenance experience
**Desired Characteristics**
+ Mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university or college is preferred.
+ Test Cell facility experience preferred.
+ Experience with troubleshooting issues with rotating equipment, structural mounts and supports.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.
