What You Will Do:
To operate the Mediaocean system at optimum capacity and monitor the work through the system in order to meet Mediaocean operational obligations to the clients.Responsibilities will include:Operate z/OS JES3 operating system Have sufficient technical expertise to monitor/maintain required customer response at all timesFirst level of error detection and diagnosis of all response time issuesRun daytime & nighttime production for EU & US systemsFirst level of error detection and diagnosis in all daily processesHighlight and report on any failures, problem areas and incidents via Ops ticketsMaintain and monitor Ops ticket database and assign all ticketsInvestigate all response time issues received via response time ticketsUnderstand ZOS JCL and be able to perform initial problem diagnosis on failuresProduce clear incident reports and work logs via the ops ticket systemCommunicate clearly and concisely with senior staff and on-call support staff during the problem resolution processRecalling resources from offsite storageWho You Are:Have sufficient technical expertise of z/OS, JES2 or JES3 operating systems, and related operating programs and facilities to effectively operate the Mediaocean mainframe systemWork with self-initiativeProblem solving abilitiesKnowledge of BMC AMIOPS, Control-M would be an advantageKnowledge of Jes3 DJC networking would be an advantageWhy Mediaocean?Flexible Working (Hybrid)25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysPrivate Medical Health InsurancePensions Scheme & Life InsuranceBudget for professional development costsSeason Ticket Loan Scheme Cycle to work schemeProfessional development opportunities within our Learning & Development programsBelong@Mediaocean affinity based groups of colleagues to create community All of these benefits/perks are effective on the date of hire8am to 8pm Thursday to Wednesday (Saturday compulsory ot) then a week off
