Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an **Experienced Mail Services Specialist** to join our team in **Chantilly, VA,** supporting mission critical government programs.
The Mail Services Specialist will be working with a multi-disciplinary team that quickly and effectively supports the facilities and construction needs for a U.S. Government customer.
**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Receives, sorts, files, and delivers U.S., express, inter- and intra-company mail including certified, registered, and classified mail
+ Provides guidance and information to customers, assisting them with material input
+ Prepares, posts and sorts, by destination code, outgoing mail ensuring compliance with all postal and export regulations
+ Prepares packages and documents for shipment of classified mail
+ Interfaces with all internal and external customers and vendors to ensure reliability and compliance with all government and company regulations and policies
+ With general supervision, inspects all incoming packages to discover potentially dangerous materials in accordance with applicable standards
+ Notifies Security if suspicious package is observed
+ Assists in training less experienced mail specialists
**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**
+ Adjudicated Counterintelligence or Full Scope Polygraph
+ 1+ year of customer service experience
+ Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35lbs on a frequent basis
+ Valid driver's license
**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**
+ Experience with transportation and logistics services
+ Experience operating Material Handling Equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks
+ Experience working in a mailroom

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $43,350 - $62,000
