What this job involves: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable (Union) Mail Services Associate to join our team at the Princeton Pike location. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing various mail services tasks, dock work, and package handling with a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

Execute written procedures and verbal instructions with strict attention to safety and quality.Perform mail delivery and dock work tasks accurately and timely.Handle pallets and packages.Maintain accurate records.Package and weigh items.Print shipping labels and postage.Inspect received goods for damage.Distribute products to other departments.Handle and deliver pouch mail.Process certified mail.Perform paper deliveries to copy/mailrooms.Process and hand-deliver accountable mail to customers.Operate tracking systems.Respond to customer phone calls and inquiries.Collaborate with other employees to achieve departmental and company goals.

Work Schedule: 7AM - 3:30PM, Monday – Friday

Desired or preferred experience and technical skills:

Previous experience in mail services or logistics.Familiarity with mail tracking systems.Customer service experience.Experience with certified mail processing.Knowledge of USPS regulations and procedures.Forklift certification.Experience in a warehouse or dock setting.

Required Skills and Experience:

Valid driver's licenseAbility to complete appropriate training based on vehicles utilized.Adequate skills to perform required job functions with minimal supervision.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to mail services.Physical ability to lift, stand, and walk for extended periods.Basic computer skills,

This position offers an opportunity to play a crucial role in our organization's mail services operations. The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy in all aspects of the job.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

32,219.00 – 32,219.20 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
