Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:

 

Dispatch Avoidance:

Eliminate unnecessary dispatches through remote resolution and business rule improvements.

Implement actions to reduce workorders and optimize dispatch rules.

Update NEOS tickets and work orders with any and all needed information - monitoring and reviewing the 3rd party vendors and SD tickets

Investigate and document incident root cause and resolution

Develop sound understanding of IT operations and related applications and systems as well as business related processes and procedures

Take ownership and responsibility of an issue from start through to a successful resolution

Maintain and consistently demonstrate a general knowledge of company guidelines, processes, practices and procedures

Allocates workload and provides feedback for improvement

 

Basic Qualifications: 

Knowledge and experience working with hardware equipment

Ability to utilize the applications for support, reporting and documentation

Advanced computer skills

Preferable knowledge of IT networks

Knowledge of Macy's US environment

Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.

Ability to handle constantly changing flow of traffic; remain productive during slow times, multitask effectively during busy times, exercise patience and professionalism during stressful situations.

Fluent English (both written and verbal communication)
