Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 /hourFull Time work availableWeekend work requiredFirst Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 06:00pm)Operated and maintained manual lathes to fabricate precise metal components.Interpreted blueprints and technical drawings to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining processes.Set up machines with proper tools, fixtures, and settings.Ensured part quality through accurate inspections using precision measuring tools.Troubleshot machine issues, tool wear, and part defects.Documented production activities, including machine settings and inspection results. Collaborated with machinists, engineers, and technicians to meet production goals.Machinist-Manual Lathe Qualifications:
Mechanically inclined and eager to learn Team player with a great attitudePhysically capable of lifting, standing, and working in a shop environmentFollowed all safety procedures when operating equipment and handling materialsMaintained a clean and organized workspace.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
