Requirements:
Semi-Skilled – A qualification is not required but would be advantageous). 5 – 10 years relevant experience. CNC machine experience advantageous. Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Understanding specifications and dimensions to produce parts accurately. Installing and aligning tools and fixtures, including lathes, mills, and CNC machines, according to job requirements. Running machines to produce parts, monitoring operations to ensure quality and efficiency. Using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Identifying and resolving issues with machines or parts during production. Performing regular maintenance and repairs on machines to keep them in good working order. Following safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Working with other team members to discuss design modifications and production techniques. Keeping records of production processes, inspections, and any changes made to processes. Ensuring that all parts produced meet quality standards and specifications.
