Basic Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.Minimum 1 year experience in relevant machining experience.​Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Primary Purpose

Sets up, operates, and trouble shoots various secondary machines in all manufacturing departments.

Major Activities

Proficiently sets up, operates, and trouble shoots machinery for self/othersSets up machines, according to work order set standard procedures and specialized company products and/or processesLearns the set up and operation of any new machines added to the departments to which assignedAssists factory supervision and lead person in the training of Machining Tech I and IIChecks parts with standard gauges or precision measuring instruments and submits parts for inspection as requiredOperates machines to ensure proper functioning and releases to and instructs operator in procedures for producing parts in conformance with specificationsPerform SPC Charting as requiredKeeps work area clean, safe, and in an orderly fashion on a daily basisPerforms other tasks as required

Essential Knowledge & Skills

Certified in Lock Out/Tag Out Ability to read and interpret blueprintsMust have good communication skills and know basic shop math Must be able to read, write and understand EnglishMust be able to lift/move up to 30 lbs. (may not exceed per EHS Policies)
