Senior Engineering Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. You will be mainly accountable for:1. \tDesign and optimize machining processes for motor components, including but not limited to turning, milling, drilling and grinding.\t\t\t\t\t\t2. \tAnalyze production data and identify improvement opportunities. Improve production efficiency and reduce production cost through process improvement. Including device improvement, automation efficiency improvement, etc.\t\t\t\t\t\t3. \tWork with design team to ensure product design meets manufacturing requirements and suggest design improvements to promote design optimization and improve manufacturing feasibility.\t\t\t\t\t\t4. \tPrepare and update process documents and operation instructions, make PFMEA and key process control plan for related work flow.\t\t\t\t\t\t5. \tProvide technical support to solve technical problems in production.\t\t\t\t\t\t

Qualifications for the role

Education(Level): Bachelor or above degree\t\t\t\tMajor: Mechanical engineering or related\t\t\t\tLanguage: Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese and good oral and written English\t\t\t\tPC Skills:\tProficiency with Solidworks, NX or other 3D software\t\t\t\tPersonality: Proactive, motivated and able to work independently, good at communication\t\t\t\t\tProfessional experience and skills:At least 3 years experience in machining process engineering.Familiar with machining equipment, cutting tools, devices and machining process.Proficient in CAD/CAM software and office software.Good project management and team work ability.Ability to work independently and have the ability to solve problems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t
