The Machining Operations Manager is responsible for the complete oversight of all metal machining operations for the plant, with primary duties focused on driving optimal on-time product output, while also still ensuring strict quality standards are always met. This role reports directly to the Plant Manager and is a key member of the Greer Stop Nut Leadership Group.
Daily responsibilities include careful job planning that aligns with plant productivity targets/metrics, product quality management, directing/leading the work of a team of Screw Machine and Swiss-Style CNC Machinists, and partnering with leaders of other plant departments.

Required Skills:
Successful prior metal machining manufacturing experience in supervision and management.Prior experience with Screw Machines (Davenport & Acme) and CNC (Tsugami multi-axis Swiss-style) equipment. Demonstrated ability to develop, relentlessly execute, and deliver results in conformance with action plans. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities. Willing to work flexible hours including off-shifts, weekends, etc. as needed to meet production demands. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
