**Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description** We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. You will play a vital role in running the Mill machine that bends metal into pipe form. Our products serve diverse industries including power generation, renewable energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, food and dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, and general commercial. This position requires troubleshooting, minor mechanical repairs, quality checks, and adjustments on machines, along with basic preventative maintenance. **Responsibilities** + Operate the Mill machine to bend metal into pipe form. + Change out the metal rolls every 2-12 hours. + Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical repairs, quality checks, and adjustments on machines. + Understand 3-phase, 480-volt systems to determine when to call for major electrical repairs. + Perform minor welding tasks (no prior welding experience required, training provided). + Conduct basic preventative maintenance at the machine. **Essential Skills** + Experience with calipers and micrometers. + Ability to troubleshoot and run machinery. + Proficiency in preventive maintenance. + Skilled in using hand and power tools. + Mechanical and electrical knowledge. + Familiarity with welding and fabrication. + 2 years of experience in troubleshooting and running machinery. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Background in machining, maintenance, mechanic work, or fabrication. + Ability to think outside the box and solve problems creatively. + 2 years of maintenance and welding/fabrication experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00 • Medical, dental & vision • Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital • 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available • Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) • Short and long-term disability • Health Spending Account (HSA) • Transportation benefits • Employee Assistance Program • Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in Janesville,WI. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 21, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
