A machine operator is responsible for the safe operation of various pack machines and quality control equipment. Responsibilities include the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of equipment to comply with company safety guidelines, good manufacturing practices, and productivity standards.

Job Description:

Schedule: 1st Shift 5:30am to 4:00pm, Monday - Friday, with rotating for Saturday work based on production schedule.

Work Location: 1325 Chase Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007

Benefits: Based on Union Contract Provisions

Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: 1st Shift: $20.71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities:

Able to operate production equipment (assemble & disassemble)

Able to clean all production equipment following cleaning procedures

Reading, writing and perform math using calculator

Responsible to maintain Quality checks- and follow specification sheets 

documenting and putting correct weights, codes, and proper seals and labels

Responsible to document downtime accurately, and reduce downtime of line

Responsible for completing all required paperwork and lot numbers

Operators are in a critical job and carry additional responsibilities are expected to work OT as Scheduled

Able to lift 50 Lbs.

Able to read and understand schedule

Set up equipment and do a pre-op line sanitation

Responsible for maintaining the work area clean and organized

Additional tasks as needed

Able to perform tasks of Utility workers on your line

Must have knowledge and ability to perform change overs

Must be capable of starting 15-30 minutes before line is scheduled for set up,

Other duties as assigned.
