Volt is looking for a skilled Machine Operator to set up, maintain and operate machinery for a company in Fresno, CA. You’ll ensure the interminable and efficient running of production.

The goal will be to ensure that production procedures will be carried on smoothly to maximize efficiency and profits.

\r\n\r\nResponsibilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSet up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle\r\n\tControl and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)\r\n\tFeed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines\r\n\tInspect parts with precision and measuring tools\r\n\tTest operation of machines periodically\r\n\tFix issues that might occur during the shift\r\n\tCheck output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws\r\n\tKeep records of approved and defective units or final products\r\n\tMaintain activity logs\r\n\r\n\r\nRequirements and skills\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProven experience as a machine operator\r\n\tWorking knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.)\r\n\tUnderstanding of production procedures\r\n\tAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)\r\n\tAbility to read blueprints, schematics and manuals\r\n\tAnalytical skills\r\n\tAttention to detail\r\n\tTeamwork and communication skills\r\n\tPhysical stamina and strength\r\n\r\n\r\n

Shift- 1st, 2nd, 3rd

Pay: $17 or more per hour DOE

\r\n\r\n

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
