Job Description

Avery Dennison Reflective Solutions seeks a skilled and motivated Embossing Technician to join our manufacturing team in Mt. Prospect, IL. As an Embossing Technician, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality reflective materials. You will be responsible for setting up and operating embossing equipment, ensuring efficient production while adhering to strict quality standards. $21.58/hour + $2 shift differential

3rd Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 AM), Monday - Friday

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate embossing machines according to standard operating procedures.Perform Six Sigma starting procedures.Read photometric samples and make quality control decisions.Wash and lubricate belts.Create shop packets.Maintain accurate production records, including quality control data and inventory information.Utilize continuous monitoring devices and measuring equipment.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Minimize downtime and maximize utilization.Adhere to all safety practices, policies, and procedures.Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.Be willing to learn and share knowledge with colleagues.Demonstrate flexibility and dependability to support production goals.Work overtime as needed.

QualificationsRequired:High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or 3+ years of relevant manufacturing experience.Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, Email).Ability to lift 50 pounds.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Commitment to safety and quality.Preferred:3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.Prior experience working off-shift hours.Desire to work overtime.
