This involves operating specialized equipment, managing packaging materials, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Production:
Operate slitting and packaging equipment to process customer orders.Interpret and follow product specifications and work orders.Perform machine set-up, changeovers, and adjustments as needed.Meet production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.Inspect finished products for quality defects and ensure proper labeling.Package finished goods according to customer requirements and Avery Dennison procedures, including the use of the Exact program.Cut cores, and band rolls, and prepare them for shipment.Materials Management:
Order and verify packaging materials to ensure adequate supplies.Maintain accurate inventory of packaging materials and finished goods.Efficiently utilize materials to minimize waste.Documentation and Reporting:
Accurately record production data, including downtime and output.Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).Maintain proper documentation for quality control and traceability.Workplace Safety and Housekeeping:
