Volt is immediately hiring multiple entry level 3rd shift Machine Operators for a top manufacturing company in Austin, Texas.

\r\n\r\n

As a Machine Operator you will:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tStart-up, operation and control of automated equipment and peripheral hardware.\r\n\tPerform automated equipment set-up functions.\r\n\tPerforms sequential start-up for the automated equipment and all peripheral hardware.\r\n\tMonitor the operation of the automated equipment and peripheral hardware.\r\n\tInitiate adjustments to ensure that the automated equipment and peripheral hardware operate within the established control limits.\r\n\tMonitor the shelf-life usage of perishable chemicals, moisture sensitive parts and raw card assemblies.\r\n\tInspect quality levels of production on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware. Makes adjustments to equipment when needed. Initiate rework/repair activities when needed.\r\n\tRecord data required for statistical process control or inventory management.\r\n\tPerform preventive maintenance on the automated equipment and peripheral hardware at specified intervals and schedules.\r\n\tPerform sequential shutdown, including the cleaning of the automated equipment or peripheral hardware.\r\n\r\n\r\n

These positions are temp to hire. Schedule is 0600pm SuMTu - SuMTuSa F (Rotational Shift)

\r\n\r\n

Requirements:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\t6 – 12 months of manufacturing or related machine operating experience preferred\r\n\tMust be able to read/write/speak English\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED preferred\r\n\tMust be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pay Rate: Shift is $18.70 per hour

\r\n\r\n
