We are looking for an experienced Machine Learning Engineer with Software Development experience to work in an international environment in downtown Prague, Czech Republic. You will be part of the Cisco Security Business Group focusing on the research and development of cybersecurity systems that process data ranging from billions of network telemetry entries to hundreds of millions of e-mails on a daily basis.
We expect you to Work in the field of Machine Learning, Data Science, Statistics, LLMs or Cloud Computing Build scalable AI-driven systems for detection of modern malware, advanced cyber threats, and malicious user behavior Work on high-performance systems capable of handling massive data maintained by Security department of Cisco and used for cyber protection of Cisco customers Provide production code in Python and setup AWS infrastructure for it, be responsible for its deployment into production and maintain its efficacy Contribute to patentable inventions or conference publications, and collaborate on research or ML operations challenges with corporate and academic partners across the globe

The Threat, Detection and Response Research and Development (R&D) team within Cisco develops innovative capabilities in the cyber security domain that detect and prevent the misuse of the customer communication or computing infrastructure. With security focus & mindset, we make machine learning work on a big scale. This enables our customers to protect their critical assets against todays and future cyber threats.

Preferred Qualifications:Research or coding experience in some of the following areas: Machine Learning and Data Science, LLMs, Statistics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Cloud Computing or Computing with Graphs Experience with operating and monitoring of production components Experience with AWS technologies Relevant publication record (scientific or industrial conference or journal) Experience with applications of Deep learning frameworks, vector databases, knowledge graphs etc.
