Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Shop Operator to join their team. As a Machine Shop Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing of high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Shop Operator

Location: Cerritos, CA

Pay Range: $17-19

What's the Job?

Edge burrs and tumble parts to customer requirements and company specifications. Perform simple repetitive bench operations such as deburring, counting, and cleaning of parts. Ensure proper handling and stacking of parts while maintaining cleanliness in the work area. Conduct visual inspections of parts to identify defects and ensure quality standards are met. Notify supervisors regarding inventory levels and assist with other duties as assigned.

What's Needed?

A high school diploma or equivalent. Background in aerospace, defense, or cable assembly industries is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to perform complex manual deburring with tight quality tolerances. Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various physical demands.
