Position Title: Machine Builder

Location: Troy, MI

Shift: Monday - Friday / 7AM - 3:30PM

Position Overview:

A Machine Builder II is an intermediate level role that assembles, tests, and inspects equipment using technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Planning, laying out and building machines from start to completion using drawing, specifications, blue prints, and schematics.
• Assisting in planning and documenting assembly production.
• Communicating to proper departments with changes or modifications that need to be made in order to properly assemble the equipment.
• Testing and inspecting the product before shipment, correcting any problems.
• Assisting in various departments, such as painting, welding, fabrication or machining. 
• May travel up to 10% to customer sites in Southeastern Michigan.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 4 years of machine building experience
• Demonstrates a basic knowledge of PLCs and components
• Is willing to travel up to 10% of time
• Has a strong attention to safety practices and company procedures

• High School diploma/GED or equivalent

Preferred Requirements:

• Technical degree in Manufacturing Automation or a related field is preferred

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.

The salary for this role is $24.26 - $26.00.
