Job Title: Machine / Assembly Operator
Role Type: Permanent role, Monday to Thursday shifts
Location & Hours: Southend
As a Machine / Assembly Operator at Honeywell, in Southend, you will be responsible for
assembling materials using hands or tools, following assembly guidelines, packing items in containers and boxes, and operating tools and equipment.
This is a permanent role with the following shift pattern: 6.30am – 4.30pm Mon to Wed and 6.30am to 3.30pm Thursday

Key responsibilities:
· Operate semi-automatic and manual assembly equipment as well as other associated equipment as and when required to assemble products
· Comply with all relevant Health, safety, Environmental & COSHH requirements
· Carry out activities in line with Company procedures and process standard work
· Ensure efficient running of Assembly equipment
· Feed components and replenish materials for assembly / packing processes
· Assembly of small components by hand so good hand eye co-ordination required
Key skills and qualifications:
· Experience in working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
· Experience in working on a site and adhering to Health & Safety guideline
· Ability to communicate well, verbally and written, in English
· This is a physically demanding role, that requires standing for long periods and lifting goods, products and light machinery at times
· Can commit to our working hours of 6.30am – 4.30pm Mon to Wed and 6.30am to 3.30pm Thursday and be open to overtime, (which is paid at rate of time and a half of double time)
