We are expanding our Outpatient Care Surgical Service Line! We are now hiring for a Medical Assistant to become part of our healthcare team offering an excellent patient experience!

Position Summary & Highlights:

$1500 Sign On Bonus offered to external candidates!

In these roles you will assist with the delivery of patient care under the directions of the providers and an RN Supervisor in our busy surgery clinic.

Our surgical teams are experts in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and in advanced subspecialty disciplines including General Surgery, Esophageal Health and Reflux, Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, Colorectal Surgery and Surgical Oncology.

What Will You Do:

The position will support the General Surgical Services Provider Team or the Surgical Oncology team which can include other surgical areas.

Someone who is flexible and able to multitask will excel in this role. 

Work Schedule:

40 hours per week, Mondays - Fridays, 8:00am - 5:00pm, based on clinic needs.

Locations:

Boise Clinic, located off of I-184 and Curtis Road

Some providers will see patients in an outreach setting at other clinics in the Treasure Valley.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

MA certification required within 90 days of eligibility to take a national certification exam from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:

American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)

American Medical Technologists (RMA)

National Healthcare Association (CCMA)

National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)

American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

For new MA graduates, minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required, even with MA certification.
