Required minimum Experience.

    5 years of MERL experience in the public health sector.
   Experience in managing in managing routine health information data, including data verification, quality control and quality assurance.
-  Experience in working with DoH data management/MERL systems (from patient-record level to DHIS level).

Maintaining the Right to Care MERL system relating to its COVID_19 vaccination rollout programme. Assist with updating the annual MERL Operational Plan. Assist with updating MERL Framework and MERL Work Plan, when needed. Ensure all data requirements are met and readily available and accessible. Maintain contact details list of all relevant DoH and IP staff at all levels, with regards to HIS, MERL, COVID-19 activities, and SI. Engaging in continuous professional development. Stay informed of RTC SI requirements and developments. Stay informed of DoH reporting requirements and procedures with regards to COVID-19 and related services, as applicable within the province. Stay informed of PEPFAR reporting requirements. Take responsibility for own professional growth and development, by staying informed of best MERL practices.Conducting MERL-related trainings. Facilitate trainings, as well as follow-up and refresher trainings on COVID-19 SI to relevant stakeholders within province and districts. Facilitate trainings on all aspects of MERL tool development, data collection, data collation, data cleaning, data packaging and data reporting. Reporting. Obtain COVID-19 data on key indicators on a weekly and monthly basis from all relevant sources. Maintain the central repository on the secure share-drive of all relevant source documents for the purpose of accountability/audit trail. Consolidate and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports per district/ province within deadlines. Facilitate weekly and monthly data reviews as part of Provincial team meetings. Respond to reasonable and relevant requests for data by DoH, RTC managers, Implementing Partners and other stakeholders within given deadlines. Displaying a healthy work ethic, attitude and behaviour. Participate in all relevant RTC and DoH meetings/workshops. Build strong relationships with all relevant DoH staff at all levels within the RTC-supported province and districts. Adhere to internal progress reporting requirements. Adhere to appropriate time & attendance standards and procedures and other HR policies. Maintain good communication and interpersonal skills.
