A day in the life.

As the M&A Technology Integration Manager on the MMA IT team, you’ll be orchestrating system technology migrations and system and data integrations by navigating complex situations, building cross-functional relationships, and breaking down roadblocks.  You’ll be directly managing high-profile acquisition integration efforts, while simultaneously building (and iteratively improving) the associated processes in preparation for future acquisition activity. 

Key responsibilities include:

Ensure that the integrations of acquired technology systems and applications are are effectively planned, delivered and adopted using repeatable, transparent and efficient – ultimately repeatable processes, playbooks and resourcing models.

Lead Integration-related programs, creating and managing project plans, defining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocations, as well as assigning tasks and monitoring progress.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring business needs are met and outcomes align with expectations.

Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Executive leadership

Monitor and effectively communicate program performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Facilitate regular program reviews and status meetings, ensuring transparency and accountability across all projects.

Participate in pre-close due diligence meetings for technology acquisitions, gathering and analyzing critical data on application performance, integration capabilities, and core IT functions to inform strategic decision-making and ensure alignment with organizational objectives

Our future colleague.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

Overall 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 5 years managing Technology Programs and/or Projects.

Proven ability to lead, communicate and influence through networks, having excellent stakeholder management skills and operating comfortably at the center of complex matrices.

Strong interpersonal skills, including negotiation and problem resolution in cross-functional teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex solutions to diverse audiences.

Proven ability to view an ecosystem holistically and employ a Systems Design approach – certifications like PMP or TOGAF Enterprise Architecture Certification a plus.

Knowledge and experience of all phases of the SDLC and full lifecycle implementations using traditional waterfall / iterative and more modern agile methodologies, as well as associated toolsets like Planview, JIRA, and ADO.

Previous experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), with a solid understanding of the due diligence process and integration strategies

These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.

Insurance or Finance Industry related knowledge

Experience with software solutions utilizing various technology stacks and methodologies, including Nodejs, Angular, React, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes Containerization, JSON and Rest Web Services

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and deployment models.

Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation, to enable efficient solution deployment and management.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $119,500 to $209,200.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
