About the Role & Program

The Lucasfilm Video Assets team is the central hub for all Franchise video content including all of the movies, shows, trailers, documentaries, behind the scenes, dailies, and legacy content. The team archives, curates, and manages over 1 million minutes of footage and works jointly across the company providing exclusive assets for new creative content, productions, and projects. As the industry continues to evolve, the team also works with the latest technology to ensure the company’s rich video legacy is preserved in its highest quality and remains accessible when needed.

We are looking for a self-starter who can work autonomously. In this role you would report to the Manager of Franchise Video Assets.

What You Will Do

Projects include helping with ingesting video assets, development database, logging metadata, and providing operational support to the Video Asset Management team. This can include:

Transcoding and importing new video assetsResearching, collecting, and logging materialMaintaining accurate metadata entry in various asset management databases and tracking toolsArchiving camera original sourcesRequired Qualifications and Skills

Please apply if you have/are:

Experience with Avid Media Composer and other equivalent non-linear editing software such as Adobe PremierProven strength in organization, detail and interpersonal communicationExperience logging video content and entering metadataKnowledge of various camera types/formats/codecsExperience using various database tools, like FileMaker ProProficiency in Windows, Mac, MS Office, Google SuiteEducation

Junior or Senior currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Film/TV production, Arts, Library Science or related field

Eligibility Requirements & Program InformationCandidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements: Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.Be at least 18 years of agePossess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information

Must have the ability to work a consistent, reliable full-time on site work schedule throughout the internship.The approximate dates of this internship are June 2025- August 2025.Must provide own housing during the internship program in the San Francisco, CA  area and have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in California is $22.00 per hour.
