Eddy Memory Care at Marjorie Doyle Rockwell Center is a memory care community complete with 52 private and semi-private rooms providing comfortable, secure living in an environment designed for safety and independence. Programs serve individuals with early to mid-stage memory impairment — those with difficulties that require watchfulness and a supportive environment, but who do not need nursing home care. The center is thoughtfully designed and services are tailored for individuals with memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease and other related dementias.

Assist Director with overall operationsCoordinate care for residents who are functionally, physically, and/or cognitively impaired and need 24 hour oversightSpeaking to resident and family member concerns Scheduling and conflict mediation with staffSupervise Resident Assistants and LPN staffSpeak to applicable regulations, policies and procedures and be able to interpret them as situations ariseMinimum Requirements:
Valid NYS LPN license2 years of experience as a LPNPreferred Requirements:
1+ year of experience in a leadership role – ideally in a direct care position2+ year working in memory care in a direct care position highly desiredStrong independent decision making skillsHighest level of patience and maintain a professional approach while handling and giving instructions to residentsStrong customer service while completing day to day duties and responsibilitiesOrganized and detail oriented with note takingComplete and manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracyCommunicate effectively in a fast pace work environment across an interdisciplinary teamEngage within a team setting and promote moraleLead and management skills of LPN and Resident service teamPassion to learn, grow and develop in the nursing fieldPay range: $25.50- $32.15
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
