Utilizing broad-based skills in basic patient care, ancillary services, and business office practices, provides assistance to providers in accordance with PNHS standard and policies.

Required Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing. Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: Must maintain a current state license of practical nursing and skill in performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.  Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing and maintain standards of clinical skills and professional ethics as established by the Nurse Practice Act and PNHS.  Basic computer/keyboarding skills required.  Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and ensure safety of patients. Safely and effectively operates the following: Various Health Testing Equipment (i.e., vision, hearing, blood pressure, etc.), Personal Computer, Printer, FAX Machine, Photocopier, and Telephone.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination: One or more years of nursing experience is desirable (preferably in a related field of medicine). Licensure/ Registration/ Certification: NA Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: NA
