Job Summary Job Summary

Crane Country Day School seeks a full-time Lower School Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will be an energetic and outgoing individual with a proven ability to collaborate and partner with other members of the Crane Staffulty (our hybrid word for staff and faculty). We are seeking an individual with strong experience teaching reading, writing, and math in elementary. A demonstrated ability to work with and engage a diverse range of learners and families is essential to success in this position. Duties and Responsibilities * Plan and design curriculum and teaching strategies that align with Crane’s mission and philosophy of providing an experiential education that meets the needs of all students. * Manage and supervise a dynamic classroom environment where all students are seen and valued. * Communicate and partner with parents to enhance the growth and development of students. * Apply anti-racist, liberatory practices and principles in all aspects of the role from classroom management to curriculum development. * Demonstrate and support a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. * Collaborate with other Staffulty members to support student growth * Monitor and report on student growth and progress. * Continually seek educational opportunities to develop professional knowledge and skills. * Attend all required staff meetings and special events. * Other duties as assigned

Requirements / Qualifications

* A bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject matter required. An advanced degree or teaching credential/certificate preferred. * A minimum of three years or more of teaching experience at the early elementary level. * A candidate with fluency in a language other than English. preferably Spanish is desirable but not required.
