Low Voltage Technician
**Job Title: Low Voltage Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking two dedicated Low Voltage Technicians to perform low voltage electrical installations at Riverside Medical Center and potentially NN City Center. The primary tasks will include access control installations and security camera installations. This position requires DCJS certification. The work will be based at Riverside Hospital in Newport News, VA. **Responsibilities** + Perform low voltage electrical installations. + Install and troubleshoot access control systems, including card readers, connecting locks, and hardware. + Install security camera systems. + Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive interactions with clients. + Work independently and stay on task. + Meet at job sites and maintain a professional appearance. **Essential Skills** + DCJS certification (or ability to become certified). + Experience with low voltage electrical installations. + Experience with access control systems and troubleshooting. + Ability to install and terminate CAT 5/6 cables. + Ability to install security camera systems. + Strong customer service skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2+ years of construction experience. + 2+ years of experience pulling wire and using multi-meters. + Commercial/Marine experience required. + Reliable transportation and a clean driving record. **Why Work Here?** This long-term position offers stability and the potential for direct hire. The work environment requires a professional appearance and the ability to work independently. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Newport News, Virginia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
