Job DescriptionThe Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies and procedures to reduce theft, fraud, and loss of company assets. This role involves coordinating investigations, overseeing surveillance systems, and training staff to uphold security standards, ensuring a safe and secure environment for employees, customers, and company property.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and enforce loss prevention policies and procedures across the organization.
Investigate internal and external theft, fraud, and inventory shrinkage incidents.
Supervise and support the loss prevention team, including officers and analysts.
Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and safety inspections to identify vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with law enforcement and external agencies as necessary.
Manage the installation and monitoring of security systems (CCTV, alarms, etc.).
Analyze loss trends and develop proactive measures to reduce risks.
Create and lead training sessions for team member on loss prevention awareness and response.
Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports for management.
Support crisis and emergency response protocols (e.g., evacuations, lockdowns).
Ensure compliance with legal regulations and internal standards regarding safety and security.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, or related field (preferred).
3–5 years of experience in loss prevention, security management, or related field.
Proven experience conducting investigations and handling sensitive situations.
Strong knowledge of security systems and technology.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
