MUST HAVE:

Shipping and receiving experience in Biotech, Medical Device, Pharma or heavily regulated industryExperience in handling and dealing with Hazardous ChemicalsExperience with forklifts

TECHNICAL AND COMMUNICATIVE SKILLS:

Sound verbal and written communication skillsDemonstrates an understanding of relevant internal and external shipping/receiving guidelinesBasic computer skills to support operation of tracking applications and other related systems

Description:

Shipping/Receiving-Logistics-

Receives all incoming goods, checks for accuracy against packing slips and prepares for deliveryEnters all relevant information into electronic receiving systemMaintains updated receiving files and follows-up with the Purchasing Department regarding receiving problems, as directed by supervisorDelivers and picks-up mail on a regular schedule as assignedAssists with the packaging of outbound freight for transfer to carriers, couriers and brokersMaintains a clean and safe work environmentPerforms other duties as assignedfork lift license and experience preferredAble to lift a minimum of 40 lbs
