Logistics Supply Chain Internship

We are looking for a Logistics Supply Chain intern who will report to the Logistics/Planning Manager, and who’ll be tasked with helping create dashboards for inventory accuracy, and work instructions. As part of your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to making improvements in logistics. You’ll be taking the lead in your own projects helping make an impact.

Follow up quick projects assigned by coordinator / manager.
\n\n\nCommunicate and lead project progress with stakeholders.
\n\n\nBuilt databases, procedures and action plans.
\n\n\nImplementation and tracker of initiatives.
\n\n\nLogistics flow improvements/efficiencies.
\n\n\nYOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:
\nRequired:
\n\n\nCurrently a Junior, Senior or above pursuing an Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain major.
\n\n\n\n\nProject leader and management experience.
\n\n\nTechnical Qualifications: Experience in excel ( pivot tables, table charts), knowledge on databases, pivot tables, and data tendencies analysis.
\n\n\n\n\nCommunication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.
\n\n\nInitiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.
\n\n\nInterpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.
\n\n\nPreferred:
\n\n\nPrevious internship experience working in a manufacturing environment.
\n\n\nProblem solving skills.
\n\n\nExperience and/or knowledge in Lean manufacturing / Six Sigma / Green Belt.
\n\n\n\n
