Job Description

We are seeking a Logistics Specialist to join our client's Inbound Transportation team. This role involves managing scheduled pickups, re-routing hauls, resolving issues, conducting data analysis, and interacting with various vendors. You will work with 18-wheeler freight hauls and collaborate with multiple vendors to ensure efficient logistics operations.

ResponsibilitiesManage and schedule inbound transportation pickups.Re-route hauls and resolve logistical issues.Conduct data analysis and problem-solving related to shipments.Interact and coordinate with multiple vendors to track and resolve issues.Participate in morning meetings to review plans and recap the prior day's activities.Use Excel to track vendor activity and analyze data.Essential SkillsAt 2 least years of professional work experience.Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.Strong data analysis skills.Ability to analyze and interpret transportation and business analytics data.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in transportation, banking industry, analyst, management, office, or corporate environments.BI training or Business Analytics certification is a plus.Ability to work efficiently with multiple screens and tabs.Problem-solving attitude and reliability.Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days on-site and 3 days remote. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with Wednesday and Thursday on-site and Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are remote. The role will transition to fully on-site in 2025. The team is diverse and collaborative, fostering a flexible and innovative work culture.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
