**Logistics Project Manager**
**Location- Hyattsville, MD (will visit DC office)**

The Project Manager will support the IT logistics contract for the Dept. of Veteran Affairs, National Capitol Region(NCR) and the National Emergent program. The contract support will consist of loading, unloading, shipping, delivery, stock count, physical and electronic inventories (annual, semi-annual, and special inventories), reallocating IT assets, fulfilling NCR and National Emergent IT requests, performing all necessary actions to excess IT assets to include removing media and preparing all required documents. The scope also includes inventory data accuracy, disconnecting and reconnecting of IT equipment, receiving new deliveries, and inter- and intra-office transferring for all IT assets that fall within the operational management purview of IT Asset Management.
The certified project manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the contract and personnel. Duties will include but not limited to:
1. Developing project plans and schedules.
2. Coordinating project activities and resources.
3. Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and service level agreements.
4. Communicating project status updates to Government stakeholders (Government Program Manager (GPM), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Contracting Specialist (CS), and Contracting Officer (CO).
5. Identifying and mitigating project risks.
6. Resolving project-related issues and conflicts.
7. Ensuring quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
8. Reporting regularly to GPM, COR, CS, and CO on project performance and deliverables.
Qualifications
+ Must hold a valid and recognized certification in project management, such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI), or an equivalent certification recognized by the Federal Government.
+ Possess at least three (3) years of experience after the completion of certification.
+ The project manager shall possess demonstrable experience in project management and shall have successfully managed projects of similar scope and complexity in the past.
**Position Details:**
+ Pay Rate / Range: **$46/hr- $60/hr**
