**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT**

Job Description: The Logistics Planning Assistance will provide logistics and deployment planning support to the 492 SOW. Responsibilities include advising on deployment policies, developing BBPs/MOUs/MOAs, implementing HHQ guidance, and supporting unit deployment functions such as cargo processing, hazard cargo prep, travel coordination, and readiness tracking. 

Responsibilities:

Provide recommendations on deployment policies, procedures, and guidelines. Assist with the development of BBPs/MOUs/MOAs and coordination between Ground Support Units (GSUs) and Host Tenant Units. Implement deployment guidance from HHQ as necessary. Assist Unit Deployment functions for training and readiness tracking/reporting, scheduling, cargo processing, pallet build up, hazard cargo preparation, and recurring reporting in deployment specific systems. Implement deployment guidance from HHQ and assist the 492 SOW Unit Deployment function by ensuring readiness requirements are met. Coordinate the Time Phase Force Deployment Data submissions for all Wing units.  Review Wing tasking and develop logistical requirements using DCAPES and Single Mobility System. Execute multiple aircraft, cargo, and personnel movement for 12 Special Operations Task Units (SOTU) & two Special Operations Tasks Groups (SOTG) throughout the year to support up to five continuous deployed operations in for areas of operations. Assists with UTC management via LOGDET, MEFPAK, and DRRS systems, and updates Mission Capability Statements. Collaborates with IPR offices, UDMs, and TMO for processing and deployment execution. Supports the development of Installation Deployment Plans and synchronization with Deployment Readiness Centers.  Provides weekly readiness briefings to 492 SOW leadership and assists in executing FORGEN, DRRS, and Force Element Assessments during unit realignment and Wing relocation to Davis-Monthan. Produce and present inputs for weekly classified Commander’s Update Briefs; submit bi-weekly activity reports; prepare briefings and documentation including Bullet Background Papers, Point Papers, and PowerPoint presentations related to Joint Planning Group and 492 SOW initiatives; and conduct senior leadership briefings as required.
