Responsibilities :

To place weekly raw material orders on suppliers. Track customer variation on orders that could be transmitted to our supplier base. Expedite orders using the standard transport mode Escalate material or supply problems. Ensure to monitor on-time delivery. Ensure that all imports requirements are met (FCL/ LCLrequirements –TO’s, forecasts, etc) Review and action delivery discrepancies Manage Excess & Obsolescence management; Engineering Change management of your parts Work with the team on CIP’s Cycle count control of parts at risk/ needing review Supplier management

 

Educational Requirements :

 

Tertiary qualification is essential.

 

Related experience :

 

Good administrative experience and computer skills is essential.  A working knowledge of SAP or a similar system would be advantageous. Minimum 5 years of supply chain experience within the automotive environment is essential.

 

Special Requirements :

 

The ideal candidate would display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.  The ability to work independently. Good communicator.
