Apply now for the position of Logistics Officer (Outsourcing Contract), Based in Cairo, Egypt.

Your role:

Take initiative to learn and understand the process to fulfil the need of the department and at the same time gain knowledge to work independently in the future.Support the OTC team in processing the customer orders and close sales orders and purchase orders in the system on time -Clear GR/IR and avoid GIT by timely booking of cost invoices and billing.Coordinate with Partners, planners and GLSC for the timely processing and delivery of direct orders.Support / assist in generating the reports and compile the data for the weekly predictive tool.To ensure proper and timely communication to customers regarding supply chain and delivery issues.To ensure (and clarify in some cases) documentation requirements from suppliers and customers.Ensure proper recording of information (SharePoint) related to logistics and to make it available as required.Ensure that movement of products within periphery of logistics is in compliance with export and import rules of Siemens.Deal with all enquires that include order entry, modification, validation, and product availability requests management (Direct - Indirect Purchase Orders).Ensure the correct products and services are delivered in a timely manner.Receive and check shipments documents.

Your expertise and qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting/ Logistics / Supply Chain Management or equivalentPrevious working experience in commercial and finance fields Is preferred.Broad understanding of supply chain management and its components.Strong communication skills, persuasive and influential with logistics partners, good interpersonal skills.Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and an affinity for data analytics.SAP experience is advantageous.Knowledge of ERP Systems and Strong IT Skills.Excellent command of English language.Ability to work within a multicultural environment.Must be proactive, customer focused and results oriented
