Job Summary
The North American Domestic Logistics Manager has responsibility for driving results that align with strategic goals. Responsibilities include third party logistics transportation provider management, oversight of multiple third party run corporate warehouses, leading a team of direct reports to support the Business Units. This role requires strong team leader skills, prioritization, communication, operational excellence, making decisions, and experience driving for results in a face-pace, changing corporate environment.
Essential Functions
· Manage third party transportation and warehouse operations within parameters of job description.
· Collaborate with both service providers and business units in pursuit of low cost/high service solutions based on the strategies of the individual business units.
· Identify and implement opportunities for logistics network efficiencies in transportation.
· Responsible for leading, developing, implementing and enforcing third party performance metrics.
· Responsible for leading, developing, and holding direct reports accountable for performance.
· In conjunction with IT and Logistics System Manager, identify opportunities to automate existing processes and eliminate non-value add activities.
· Work with supplier base to continually identify and drive process improvement and cost reduction activities.
· Liaise with corporate quality group. Ensure corporate logistics group is in compliance with all documented quality standards. Ensure proper supplier measurement systems and evaluations are in place and audited on a regular basis.
· Provide analytical and process improvement support to the logistics operations team group as well as the business units.
· Become expert in SAP S4 EWM and Tm systems as well as familiarity with third party partners systems.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field is required, or equivalent work experience.
· Strong knowledge of transportation and warehousing industries.
· Experience managing third party transportation and warehouse partner.
· At least three years of experience in a Corporate Logistics role supporting multiple business groups.
· A minimum of three year of leadership experience including managing direct reports.
· Experience with SAP S4 EWM and TM preferred.

Physical Demands
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (up to 60% of the work day). Must be able to traverse to/from required meetings. Must be able to input data into a computer. Typically work is in an office environment where the noise level is low to moderate.
