Hire Resolve is working with a leading food manufacturing company based in the Western Cape, which is seeking a Logistics Manager to join their team in Cape Town. As the Logistics Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics operations of the company.
Responsibilities: Collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to ensure seamless delivery of goods Overseeing the transportation of goods from one location to another Managing budgets and allocating resources for transport and logistics Researching and implementing efficient shipping techniques, routing, and carriers Ensuring compliance with local and international transportation laws and regulations Manage day-to-day logistics activities to maximize the efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness of the organization’s supply chain. Direct the movement, storage, and processing of inventory to ensure a cost-effective flow of activities Examine existing procedures or opportunities for streamlining activities to meet customer needs Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Transport, Supply Chain, Operations, or relevant field Proven working experience as a Logistics Manager, preferably in the food manufacturing industry In-depth knowledge of logistics and inventory management Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesIf you meet the above requirements and want to make a career-changing move, apply today by either filling in the online application form or by emailing your CV to logistics@hireresolve.za.com
