About the Position: This position is under the supervision of the ILSC, Business Management Directorate Integrated Financial Management Directorate, Army Materiel Logistics Support Branch. Responsibilities Serves as a manager, advisor and analyst on assigned centrally managed nontactical vehicles (NTV) Facilitates the procurement and delivery of centrally managed NTVs, and communicates with Army command fleet managers, to include HQ Army Materiel Command (AMC), Army Sustainment Command (ASC), Installation Management Command (IMCOM). Communicates with Army command fleet managers, to include HQ Army Materiel Command (AMC), Army Sustainment Command (ASC), Installation Management Command (IMCOM), and other Army commands. Validate Table of Distribution and Allowances (TDA) authorizations and verify priority level for requirements approved by Headquarters Department of Army, G9 (HQDA G9). Performs OPA budget responsibilities related to the procurement of NTVs, inputs purchase requisitions (e.g., MIPRs) and submits request to Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) G8 for the signature and commitment or obligation of funds. Performs major item management responsibilities for NTVs, provides the field with guidance and disposition instructions for the disposal and redistribution of NTV assets. Assists command and field level NTV fleet managers with the annual fleet reporting requirement in the Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST) system. Reviews individual fleet reports, troubleshoots errors. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: interpreting Other Procurement Army (OPA) funded procurement policies, procedures, and directives to procure end items for non-tactical vehicles; utilizing automated systems such as GSA FLEET Application, G-Army, GFEBS, action related to the procurement of non-tactical vehicles; providing logistics and acquisition management support; initiating procurements, procedures, and directives to procure end items for non-tactical vehicles. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Information Management Planning and Evaluating Technical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Education Additional Information Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct deposit of pay is required.
