About the Position: The pay band NH-03 includes the General Schedule grade equivalent to GS-12 to 13. Other initiatives under the Acquisition Demonstration Project include simplified classification, streamlined hiring process and expanded developmental opportunities. Responsibilities Coordinate site Surveys, logistic support meetings, case planning meetings, etc. necessary to definitize purchaser requirements prior to LOR. Review PM requirements and determine TPA requirements for respective entries. Develop/forward PM position on sole source as well as any required release recommendations. Process/issue Army requisitions to support Non-Standard Acquisition Program /(SNAP)/ Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) for responsible weapons systems and commodities. Review and approve contractor invoices, performance and cost reports, progress reports, work plans, travel requests and trip reports. Interprets and disseminates policy and implementing procedures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for DoD Certain Competitive Service Positions to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (NH-02). Specialized experience is defined as: 1) Applying logistic maintenance and procedures in support of an acquisition program; 2) Utilizing a wide range of methods to improve the program's effectiveness and processes; and 3) Evaluating logistical findings and recommend corrective actions regarding logistics. Applicants must meet basic eligibility requirements such as minimum qualifications, and other regulatory requirements within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement. Salary negotiations for those candidates who are new to Federal service may be authorized. Advanced Leave Accrual will not be authorized. Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest.
