How you will make contributions that matter:
As the Logistics Coordinator you will manage the day-to-day customer service to SDA Feeds customers through the efficient and timely logistics execution of feed sales and purchase contracts. Additionally, you will support the SDA feeds sales team through provision of pricing and feeds information to customers.
Supply Logistics – you will lead contractor management, quarterly freight agreements, and administer coordination for efficient execution aligned with sales plans.Oversee trading position and report market insights – establish the management of supply and location of commodities in inventory or under contract.Team up with SDA Feeds Trading Manager to improve management of data across the business. Manage credit and chain of responsibility (COR) procedures and policies and report any breaches.Support SDA Feeds Trading Manager in the overall response to inquiries on commodity sales. Handle customer communications, orders, and sales analysis – Ensure post-sale customer success.About you:
We’re looking for someone with:
A bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field – advantageousExperience in primary production logistics, particularly the supply of feed to dairy customers - advantageousIntermediate skills in MS Office applications.Well organised to cope with the pressure of a high enquiry level and numerous deliveries each dayExcellent in communication (oral & written), customer service, and negotiation skills are important and highly valued.Click on “Apply for this job” to submit your application.
