Your Personality

SAP Experience 2-3 years OEM Customer relations, production planning and automotive experience 3-5 years Tertiary qualification /Ndip or Equivalent MS Office (Excell/PowerPoint – Intermediate to advanced) Good Communication skills Good Analytical skills Good Report writing

 

Your Opportunity

Ensure all forecasting- and production planning activities associated with the analysis of customer demand are completed in a timely manner on a weekly basis. Review historical sales trends, data, present and communicate any major deviations and analyse forecast accuracy data metrics and drive appropriate discussions to improve data and maintain step charts. Maintain the Production planning /MRP/ERP system with key customer data, including weekly schedule demands. Provide a link between Sales and Operational / Supplier planning from both ends of the supply chain. Validates and communicates CSP planning. Deliver weekly KPI's to show customer delivery performance and forecast accuracy, and inventories. Be the first point of contact for any customer and planning queries and liaise with customers. Assist in continuous improvements of Logistics systems to ensure and track all KPI's are performing in line with Plant specific targets and in alignment with Compass BOSLE standards allocated for customer planning. Coordinate customer collections; and transportation planning with each allocated customer; also ensure collections and deliveries are made in alignment with customer call-offs. Collate and file all corresponding documents from SAP for each shipment and ensure documentation is in place to pass internal and external audits. Align inventory levels with peaks and troughs in customer demand, update and maintain customer reports and KPI’s for all WIP/FG’s. MPS, scheduling, and coordinating production in line with the customer products and demands. Ensure planned production and schedules are in place of production according to demand and WIP/FGs against the planned targets and are adhered to. Promotes a respectful work environment (functionally and disciplinarily reporting). Leads by example and lives up to Benteler’s mission, values, and principles. Adheres to the agreed appraisal process. Coordinates Process "Develop & Launch" activities including engineering changes, SOP and EOP & Obsolescence for customer planning points to ensure a successful implementation. Reduces working capital (Inventory) according to the BOSLE principles and targets.
