Logistics Analyst - Iraq

Our work depends on Logistics Analyst joining our team to support customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities to include transportation/shipping and receiving. Perform functions such as demand forecasting, material procurement, production planning, inventory control, inventory reductions, cost savings, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution. Creates integrated processes among internal functions and outside suppliers. Develops logistics policies and procedures.

HOW A LOGISTICS ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
● Supports customer logistics requirements through the analysis, organization, planning, and administration of various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, maintenance, and/or repair activities
● Responsible for data input through the Logistics Information Systems (LIS). Currently utilizing Global Combat Support System - Army (GCSS-A).

● Responsible for purchasing, shipping and transportation, inventory, warehousing, Production Control and delivery activities.
● Management of the movement goods or supplies, from common consumer goods to military supplies.

● Oversee the full order cycle.

● Ensure contract/company vehicles and equipment supplied are kept clean and tidy at all times, serviced within country sponsor’s guideline, and ensure any defects are notified to correct parties and rectified in a timely manner.

● Plan and manage logistics, inventory, transportation and customer services.
● Comply with local and federal laws, military regulations, and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) requirements.

● Ensure the delivery of products on time and to the right location.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
● B.A. or equivalent and 3 years of related experience (One year of military experience may be substituted for one year of academic requirements to fulfill the bachelor's degree requirement.
● Extensive knowledge and certifications in the Global Combat Support System - Army, Procurement Management, Asset Management, Transportation and Shipping Management to include Production Control Management.
● Ability to perform several tasks at one time, keep detailed records, and simultaneously manage several projects in a fast-paced environment.

● Experience in stock control and asset management.

● Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).

● Experience working in hostile and austere environments.

● Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

● Strong attention to detail.

● Valid driver's license.

● An active U.S. government SECRET clearance.

● A current U.S. passport with more than 2 years remaining before expiration and at least 4 blank consecutive pages for VISA stamps.

● Location: On Customer Site
● Ability to pass CRC to be able to deploy.
