Logistics Analyst I (Journeyman)

Responsibilities What You’ll Do: Support the introduction of the CH-53K King Stallion helicopter to the United States Marine Corps. The CH-53K is the Marine Corps' newest heavy-lift helicopter. Key Responsibilities: Support the government Logistics Element Manager (LEM). Site Activation Support Plans and Site Evaluation Reports for new acquisition weapons system (CH- 53K Heavy Lift Helicopter) and associated training, airborne weapons, and support equipment. Analyze capabilities of Government maintenance facilities. Must have knowledge of and be able to support the following areas. Research support for government facilities issues, to include squadron stand-up, shipboard integration and operations, and remote locations Identify and recommend necessary modifications, alterations, construction, and equipment required to satisfy maintenance and logistics, MILCON, and support requirements. Review of Facilities Requirements Document (FRD) and facilities-related documents and reports. This position will require travel, both CONUS and OCONUS Support program-related tasking from LEM. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, management or technical discipline. Allowable Substitution: An additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for an associate degree (AA/AS). An additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree (BA/BS). Experience: At least two (2) years in Acquisition Logistics Support or Maintenance Engineering. At least two (2) years experience with operational logistics support and maintenance engineering. Desired Experience: Marine Corps or Navy logistics and acquisition experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Vizio. Must possess a current U.S. government secret clearance. Other Requirements: This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret security clearance. Skills & Technology Used Analytical Thinking & Problem Solving: Possesses both analytical and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills/techniques. Business Partner/Effective Communicator: English language skills to communicate and negotiate with vendors. Strong communicators must be able to communicate clearly both in writing and orally. Ability to train, lead projects, and direct employees. Customer service-oriented, detail-focused, proactive behavior, and multi-tasking capability. Software: Microsoft Office Suite Excel Outlook SharePoint Personal computer, printer, copy machine, and other general office equipment.
