**Resumen**
The Import and Export Analyst is responsible for managing and coordinating the import and export operations of products, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and the company's internal procedures. This position is key to ensuring that international logistics processes are carried out efficiently and within the established deadlines.
**Responsabilidades**
**Main Responsibilities:**
Documentation Management: Prepare and verify all necessary documentation for import and export processes, including commercial invoices, customs declarations, certificates of origin, among others.
Shipment Coordination: Coordinate the international shipment of goods, ensuring compliance with customs, transportation, and insurance regulations.
Negotiation with International Suppliers and Customers: Maintain constant contact with suppliers, carriers, and customers to manage logistical details and resolve potential issues during the process. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all imports and exports comply with local and international laws and regulations, including tariff rates, sanitary and safety regulations.
Inventory and Storage Management: Coordinate with warehouse and logistics departments to ensure proper handling of inventory and storage of imported or exported goods.
Shipment Tracking and Receipt of Goods: Monitor shipments to ensure they arrive at their destination within the estimated time and with the expected quality. Resolve issues related to delays or damages.
Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports on import and export activities, including costs, transit times, shipment status, and any other relevant information for management.
Cost Control: Monitor the costs of import and export processes, seeking alternatives to optimize logistical expenses and minimize additional costs.
Relations with Customs Brokers and Carriers: Maintain good relationships with customs brokers and transport companies to ensure a continuous and efficient flow of goods.
Support in International Business Strategy: Collaborate with the commercial team to identify business opportunities in international markets and support the company’s expansion abroad.
**Requirements:**
+ **Education:** University degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, International Business, or related fields.
+ **Experience:** At least 2 years of experience in import and export, international logistics, or foreign trade.
**Knowledge:**
+ Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade.
+ Proficiency in software related to customs and logistics management.
+ Knowledge of international transportation procedures (maritime, air, land).
**Skills:**
+ Strong organizational and time management skills.
+ Good negotiation and communication skills.
+ Proficiency in computer tools (Advanced Excel, import and export management systems).
